Our Story
Our company was founded by Mr Wesley, a young employee of the company DJXC. After one year in the company, he realised that the majority of his co-workers had no choice but to forsake their lunch break at work. This immediately drew his attention because two of his co-workers had to undergo surgery simply because they had been doing this for a long time. Despite the fact that other co-workers were able to have their lunch, many decided to eat unhealthy fast food because it was quick to prepare.
The majority of firm employees stated they rarely take a regular lunch break, whether it was due to the recession or a general desire to demonstrate that they are diligent workers in order to advance in their professions. He discovered that practically all of these statements were false. He deduced from all of these statements that practically everyone was "big-headed" about whether or not they were eating lunch. Thereby, he devised a plan. He desired a nutritious and quick lunch break for his friends and co-workers. In his restaurant, "Ready Meals," he combined two services: delivery and food orders. Almost every person in his organisation backed his proposal as soon as it was launched in that generation.
As a result, this concept made life easier for the employees. They were able to consume a nutritious lunch in a short amount of time. Later, Mr Wesley decided to leave his employment and devote more time to improving his restaurant. He had developed a solid base in the business after several setbacks. To keep up with the trends, Mr Wesley and his colleagues began to create chain stores around the world as well as online enterprises.

In 2000, Ready Meals was built near the DJXC firm in Kuala Lumpur.

In 2003, Ready Meals received the award for the most inventive restaurant service and user-friendly design.

In 2008, Ready Meals set a Guinness World Record for the most orders placed by a restaurant in a single year.
​
In 2010, Ready Meals marked their tenth anniversary by contributing RM100 million to disadvantaged families.
​
In 2017, Ready Meals was ranked fifth among the world’s philanthropists and third among the world’s most valuable restaurants.
​
In 2021, Ready Meals donated food and drinks to over 30 hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic and gave every impoverished family a 50% discount.
